What is it?

Dental implant treatments are the placement of artificial screw systems in the jawbone to compensate for teeth lost due to decay, gum diseases, trauma and different reasons, and then ending the procedures with fixed or removable prosthetic treatments with the support of these artificial screws.

Dental implants are made of tissue-compatible titanium material and are placed into the bone by implant surgery methods.

Following the placement of dental implants in the tissue, a certain period of time must pass for healing. At the end of this period, the impression and laboratory phase is started for the implant-supported prostheses to be made.

Prosthetic structures, which are specially prepared for the patient after the measurement and laboratory phases, contribute to the patient’s fulfillment of functions such as chewing, aesthetics and phonation (speech).

Necessary Conditions

The conditions that need to be evaluated for dental implant application are the sufficient bone and soft tissue volume of the area to be implanted locally and the general health status of the patient to be suitable for implant surgery.

If present, the patient’s systemic disorders must be reported to the physician by the patient during the anamnesis (anamnesis is the process of asking questions and obtaining information from the physician and other health professionals to diagnose the patient or to determine the condition of the existing disease).

Another important condition required in dental implant applications is the presence of sufficient bone and soft tissue in the area where the implant is planned to be applied. The bone volume must be sufficient in horizontal and vertical directions.

FAQ

In case of insufficient bone volume, some advanced surgical procedures are performed to increase the existing bone volume. For these procedures, bone particles or blocks obtained from the patient’s own tissue (autogenous) can be used, or bone particles or blocks of animal, human or synthetic origin can be used. Dental implant application is possible on the healthy new bone tissue formed after the use of these biomaterials.
For this purpose, advanced surgical techniques are frequently performed in our clinic.

The most important criterion here is the current tooth deficiency. While single implant application may be sufficient in single tooth deficiency, the number of implants in multiple tooth deficiencies is determined by considering biomechanical principles.

Dental implant surgeries are performed in a painless environment after an adequate and correct local anesthesia application. The patient does not experience any pain or ache. However, the pain that may occur after the procedure can be easily controlled with painkillers prescribed by your physician.

Immediate implantation means immediate implant application. In other words, it is the process of placing the implant in the extracted tooth socket immediately after tooth extraction. The advantage of this procedure is that the treatment time is shortened and the usual soft and hard tissue loss due to extraction is minimized.

Immediate loading means immediate loading. In other words, it is the process of putting the implant-supported prosthetic structure into function immediately after implant application.

For dental price applications, it is a very correct approach to get a price after a physician examination.
